FAW Besturn has launched the T99 Sport model (T99 S) based on the T99. The new car is still equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, including three models: Sport Luxury, Sport Luxury, and Sport Luxury. The official guide price ranges from 159900 to 176900 yuan.

As the post-80s and post-90s generations increasingly dominate the automotive consumer market, more and more car companies are offering two appearance packages, "luxury version" and "sports version", for consumers with different needs to choose from. The Besturn T99 Sport Edition has emerged, enriching the product line of FAW Besturn family while providing consumers with more choices.

Due to signing Zhang Hanyu as the spokesperson, the Bestune T99 is known as the "captain's car". The official held a launch event with the theme of "Journey to the Sky" in the form of a chartered flight for the newly added sports version model, and it was successfully held on the JD99 flight from Haikou to Hefei.

The new car brings three major upgrades:

1. Appearance upgrade: As a new model, the Bestune T99 Sport continues the overall design of the current model while making some more personalized adjustments in details.

The biggest visible change in appearance comes from the grille, where the chrome trim has been replaced with a black honeycomb design, and an Arabic numeral "9" consisting of 9 red and 1 yellow vertical stripes has been added on the left side to create a more dynamic atmosphere, echoing the positioning of the Bestune T99 S sports model.

The side profile of the car has also undergone changes in details, with a brand new black roof, dual tone body design, and black rearview mirrors adding a sporty feel to the side profile. The "Bestune T99 S" at the rear adopts a new font to indicate its personalized identity. Other details, such as the through type taillights and the dual sided four exhaust layout, have been preserved.

The interior of the Bestune T99 Sport adopts a black overall color scheme, with red elements added to the seats and other areas to create a youthful atmosphere. It retains the technology rich 12 inch full LCD instrument panel, 12 inch central control screen, and large-sized air conditioning touch screen, enhancing the sense of technology. In addition, the crystal gear lever equipped on the Bestune T99 Sport version has a strong visual impact.

2. Control upgrade: The Bestune T99 Sport still features a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 224Ps and peak torque of 340N · m. The transmission system will be replaced with an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. PS： The Bestune T99 is paired with a Shengrui 8-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the three major upgrades mentioned above, the Bestune T99 Sport will still maintain its space advantage as a flagship 5-seater SUV, with dimensions of 4800/1915/1685mm and a wheelbase of 2870mm.
